Trinity Singers Rehearsals Week 8
Congratulations to Trinity Singers who performed at the Gala Concert last night at The City Recital Hall, Angel Place. The boys enjoyed singing with the Symphonic Wind Band and the Junior School Choir. Thanks to Ms Isabelle Keyser, Mrs Swanton and Mrs Campbell for their work in preparing the students for this performance. Congratulations to Cayden Tsang and Aaron Li who performed in the Symphony Orchestra item. Thanks also to Mr Lever, Mr Smith and Mr Burge for accompanying the boys on the day to the rehearsal.
Year 4 Band Program
The Year 4 Band /Strings Program will cease in Week 9. Year 3 will experience this program in Semester 2 which will then bring us into sync with the Junior School in 2023. If you know you will be absent in the final week of this term or earlier, your band instrument must be returned to Mrs Campbell before you depart so they can all be sent away for cleaning ready for Year 3 in Week 1 Term 3.
Year 1 and Year 2 Strings Program
On Wednesday we celebrated the growth that the students have achieved in this program during this term. Both year levels have developed their music and ensemble listening skills as well as learning what it means to be a respectful audience member. Year 1 will commence Term 3 learning the instrument of their choice and Year 2 will continue on their chosen instrument for the remainder of the year. Thanks to Ms Mandie Vieira the Strings Co-ordinator and all the String staff for their work in the program. We look forward to celebrating growth at the end of Term 3.
Co-curricular Rehearsals Week 1
Music Ensembles will resume Day 1 Wednesday 20th July as usual. This means that Trinity Singers will all meet at 7:30am in the Mozart Room on the first day of term. All string ensembles will be rehearsing in the afternoon.
It is vital that the boys are in attendance as there is a great deal of repertoire to be learnt before the Family Service and Primary Arts Festival in Week 6.
