CruFit Term 2
On Monday the 23rd of May, Mrs Leedow and Mr Niulala took the CRU Leaders and Year 5&6 CRU boys to the Preparatory School to attend the CRUFIT seminar. The theme of this day was how to be holy because God is holy. We had challenges to complete perfectly. The activities were based around one word, holy. We had to do challenges like ‘holy cheezels’ and the ‘holy hole in one’. All of these activities were very hard (according to Eamon) and it was impossible to do them all correctly with everyone failing the exercise. We then learnt that we can’t be holy and the only way for us to become holy is a perfect sacrifice. Jesus is and will always be the perfect sacrifice. We then split up into groups doing fun memory verses and creating ways we could set time to reflect and spend time with God. Overall this experience was great for everyone who went – helping us to become followers in training (FIT)!
