Private Tuition Policy

It is School Policy that students who are enrolled in the Private Tuition Programme at Trinity do not have external lessons as well.  This is to avoid any conflict of teaching styles which leads to confusion on the part of the student and is counterproductive. Please speak to your son’s Instrumental Music Teacher to clarify the way forward. Boys who learn externally are more than welcome to be part of the Music Co-curricular Program.

AMEB Session 1

Students who are being entered for Session 1 AMEB Piano and String Exams are required to have their signed forms emailed to Ms Lorraine Chan lchan@trinity.nsw.edu.au for Strings and Mrs Barbara Fox bfox@trinity.nsw.edu.au for Piano no later than Tuesday 22nd February. Please contact your son’s Instrumental Music Teacher for the form.

Soloist Competition

Please refer to the Head Master’s Bulletin for further details concerning entry requirements and application deadlines for the Soloists Competition for 2022. The following Heats for the Soloists Competition will be held at the Preparatory School in the Beethoven Room on the following days:

Strings – Tuesday 8th March 1:30pm-3pm Beethoven Room

Piano – Wednesday 9th March 9am – 11am Beethoven Room
