Frequently Asked Questions

Part of the reason we transitioned to the InSite parent portal was because we knew the platform would allow us to improve the parent app experience by integrating the two. The opportunity also allowed us to review our security sign-in suppliers, with Microsoft chosen due to its global security credentials, scale, and its easy password reset in the case of a forgotten parent password.

The new School app is set to deliver notices to your phone direct from InSite, including push notifications. The Settings you will need to review will be within InSite itself, via your dashboard.

The new app integrates with InSite, so there is no need to set up lists and tags like you had to on the previous version.  Based on your unique login, you will receive notices directly on the app. Under the co-curricular tile, the sports teams and activities relevant to your son(s) will be populated, as will fixtures. The co-curricular department are currently updating fixtures and team lists ahead of Term 2.

IMPORTANT: if your family uses Trinity buses you MUST join the Trinity Buses group on InSite in order to receive notifications about any bus route changes or delays. This is different to how the old app functioned, where you chose bus route tags and settings. Go to InSite, choose Groups from the top green menu, select All Groups, search for Trinity Buses, and join it.
