Yoshizawa organically dyes her handwoven textiles, with natural dyes extracted from foraged materials such as leaves and roots as well as spices and Japanese indigo. Using traditional methods such as ikat, along with knotting, twisting and weaving, every aspect of her work is considered. Its subtle tonal palette, refined geometry and translucency create a profound sense of weightlessness and serenity.
