Year 7 to 12 Information

Students in Years 7 to 12 participate in a BYOD Programme and are required to purchase and bring a device to School every day. We understand that the needs of our senior students differ from those in younger years, therefore students in Years 7 to 12 have the choice of selecting a Mac or Windows device that best suits their learning needs.

Trinity Grammar School has taken an open approach to the use of devices in the Senior School classroom in line with a student-centred delivery of the curriculum. Classroom technology is utilised as a part of a blended learning model that offers students the opportunity to benefit from a range of delivery methods, both face to face and online. Through the use of web-based tools such as Canvas, our Learning Management System, G Suite for Education, and Microsoft Office 365 we are able to offer our teachers and students collaborative and varied teaching and learning opportunities.

To assist families in selecting an appropriate device, Trinity has worked with a third party supplier to offer appropriate laptop devices for students that can be found in the BYOD Purchase Portal. Students are also able to bring an alternative make/model of laptop should they wish as long as it meets the minimum specifications.
