Track Capital: Cameron Griffith

Trinity’s Cameron Griffith has his profile highlighted with the University of Arkansas in the United States where he was awarded a scholarship following his high performance in Track and Field. In addition to his sporting achievements, Cameron completed an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in 2014, graduating with an exceptional score of 30 (83 ATAR).

Cameron commenced his studies at Trinity as a Year 3 student in 2005 which is when he began running cross-country and he has never looked back. He chose to complete the International Baccalaureate’s Diploma Programme, which allowed him to balance his studies with training and perform highly in both areas. Cameron also received the Pierre De Coubertin Award in 2014, an annual award appointed by the Australian Olympic Committee to recognise senior secondary students who demonstrate sporting attributes consistent with Olympism.
