HARRISON Lyttle is very inspired by NBA great Stephen Curry and now wants to play like him.
The Trinity Grammar student wants to play basketball at the highest level and has enlisted the help of Curry’s personal trainer Brandon Payne in the US.
Harrison, who stands 145cm tall, is this week’s nominee for the Local Sports Star Awards.

Harrison, of North Bexley, has been playing basketball for nearly four years and if he has his way, he will play for a US college before chasing a professional career.
“My favourite player is Stephen Curry and I model my game from him as he is the best shooter in the NBA,” Harrison, 11, said.
“He’s humble and I love that about him.
“My dad researched Steph’s trainer and got in touch with him.
“We then flew over to San Francisco and spent a week in his facility training.
“I wanted to get the same training as Steph because I want to play like him in my game.
“The training has made me into the player I am today.
“This year my main achievement was getting to State Cup and having my dad as coach was awesome.”
Harrison, who was the team captain this year, plays for St George under 12s representative side and Accelerate Basketball.
“I am determined to make either the NBA or the European League and presently I train five hours each week.”
