FAQ about the Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded for the duration agreed. It is our expectation that all scholarship holders will maintain academic standards appropriate to those of a scholarship holder and have high standards of conduct and application. It is assumed scholarship holders will involve themselves actively in the life of the School, particularly in the areas of strength that are identified in the scholarship process.

Several scholarships are awarded annually in each category, and we encourage all who fit the criteria to apply. We are guided by the qualities of the applicants, the priorities of the School, the commitment of families to a Trinity education, the potential growth that a successful applicant would experience through this opportunity, and the contribution they will make to the life of the School.

Everything that is covered by school fees, which includes tuition, co-curricular activities, textbooks, excursions, camps etc. Scholarships do not cover uniforms or laptops/ ICT devices, although some additional assistance may be available to disadvantaged students.

Most scholarships are partial, covering a proportion ranging between 25% and 75% of school fees at the discretion of the Headmaster. Very few full scholarships are offered, and these will usually be reserved for disadvantaged students.

For all new students, to accept a Scholarship you will be required to pay the non-refundable Application Fee of A$200 and non-refundable Enrolment Fee. The Enrolment Fee is discounted in line with the scholarship offered. For example, if a boy is awarded a 25% scholarship, he will also receive a 25% discount on the full Enrolment Fee of A$5000.
