COVID-19 Precautions and Trinity Sporting Fixtures

General Protocols

Trinity Grammar School has put in place a series of protocols to ensure the safety of all players, staff and parents attending school sport hosted by the School in Term 3 2020.

Please carefully read our COVID-19 Sports Fixtures Protocols and all instructions found on this page.

Do not attend the School Campus or Sport Venue if you have:

Practise good hygiene the School Campus and at sport venues:

Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly. Wash your hands or use hand sanitiser on arrival to the School or sports venue. Implement hand hygiene practices at regular intervals throughout your visit to the School or sports venue.

Maintain respiratory hygiene. Cover your cough or sneeze through coughing or sneezing into your elbow or tissue, and then disposing of tissues immediately. Always wash your hands after you have coughed, sneezed or blown your nose.

Avoid shaking hands. Adopt non-contact greetings.

Maintain physical distance. Apart from players, maintain physical distance from other people while on the School campus or sport venue and be in allocated areas.

Players are encouraged to arrive ready to play, play your game and then go home.

No food or catering facilities or access to water bubblers will be available at the School or sports venues.

Spectators: in line with NSW Health advice, spectators will be limited to one parent/ caregiver per player

Spectators

All spectators are expected to follow the general protocols above.

In line with NSW Health advice, spectators will be limited to one parent/caregiver per player.

No additional spectators (siblings, Trinity or visiting students, Old Boys, other parents, extended family) will be allowed to attend and watch games. Spectators are asked not to bring dogs.

All spectators must register on arrival at the School or sports venue using the COVIDCOMPLY QR Code. The QR code will be available at multiple locations on arrival at a venue.

  • Via the QR code, spectators will need to provide name, contact phone number, the School they are from and the team their son is in.
  • Spectators will be required to show their completed registration with COVIDCOMPLY to COVID Safety officers on arrival.
  • Information is collected for the purposes of contact tracing only.

Please follow the directions of signage and staff at the School and sport venues.

 

Players and Officials

It is expected visiting schools will maintain a team list of players, officials and senior staff for contact tracing.

Players and coaches are not required to register using the COVIDCOMPLY QR Code on arrival.

Players are expected to attend ready to play: to play their game and then go home. No change room facilities will be available.

(Please note change room facilities will only be available for 1st and 2nd teams at the Trinity Grammar School Summer Hill Campus).

Players are to refrain from sharing water bottles, jerseys, and other personal equipment.
