COVID-19 Precautions and Trinity Sporting Fixtures

Managing COVID Safe Trinity Sport

General Protocols

Updated 21st May, 2021

These protocols are in place to ensure the safety of all players, staff and parents attending sport hosted by Trinity Grammar School in Term 2 2021.

Please carefully read our COVID-19 Sports Fixtures Protocols and all instructions found on this page.

Do not attend the School Campus or Sport Venue if you have:

  • tested positive to COVID 19,
  • been in close contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID 19, including visiting case locations
  • required to self-isolate as per current NSW Health advice (click to read the latest advice),
  • are unwell or are displaying flu like symptoms.

Practise good hygiene at the School Campus and at sport venues:

Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly. Wash your hands or use hand sanitiser on arrival to the School or sports venue. Implement hand hygiene practices at regular intervals throughout your visit to the School or sports venue.

Maintain respiratory hygiene. Cover your cough or sneeze through coughing or sneezing into your elbow or tissue, and then disposing of tissues immediately. Always wash your hands after you have coughed, sneezed or blown your nose.

Avoid shaking hands. Adopt non-contact greetings.

Maintain physical distance. Apart from players, maintain physical distance from other people while on the School campus or sport venue and be in allocated areas.

Players are encouraged to arrive ready to play, play your game and then go home.

Limited catering facilities will be available at the School or sports venues.

All spectators must register on arrival at the School or sports venue, using the Service NSW QR Code, providing name, contact phone number and must declare the School they are from and the team their son is in. Information is collected for the purposes of contact tracing only. This QR code will be available at multiple locations on arrival at a venue.

Spectators

Spectators will be required to show their registration via the Service NSW QR Code to Safety officers on arrival

Please follow the directions of signage and staff at the School and sport venues.

In line with NSW Health advice, spectators will be limited according to the venue.

  • No more than TWO Parents per player.
  • For internal venues, spectators are to be seated on marked seats to maintain physical distancing.
  • All spectators are expected to follow the general protocols above.

Spectators are reminded that Trinity Grammar School is a dog-free venue.

Players and Officials

It is expected visiting schools will maintain a team list of players, officials, and senior staff for contact tracing. Players and coaches are not required to register using the QR Code on arrival.

Players are expected to arrive ready to play, play your game and then go home as no change room facilities will available (there are different arrangements for 1st and 2nd teams on the Summer Hill Campus).

Players are to refrain from sharing water bottles, jerseys, and other personal equipment.
