Annual Giving 2017

Positive relationships build positive boys and a strong community

Annual Giving Appeal

From the Head Master

The nature of the relationships forged through the School family is what unites us in the common goal of providing the best education environment for our boys to develop in Mind, Body and Spirit.
Our Annual Giving Appeal is just one way that our community can offer support to enhance further the learning opportunities, facilities and programmes offered to our boys, ensuring excellence in our education offerings.
We undertake many projects, from small refurbishment works to larger more complex building works. Your contribution, no matter how large or small, plays a vital role in assisting us to meet the challenges of maintaining and enhancing the future of the School across all campuses.
The focus of our Annual Giving Campaign this year is ‘community’- for if we unite as a community, we can achieve great things. While donations are greatly appreciated, it is the coming together of families, students and School with a common purpose that is paramount to the development of our boys.
Thank you for your continued support. Milton Cujes | Head Master

The Building Trust

We are greatly indebted to the Trinity community for its unwavering support which enabled us to open our new purpose-built Trinity Field Studies Centre in the picturesque Jervis Bay area on Saturday 19 November 2016. The Centre affords our boys the life-forming opportunities of living in community, and learning about oneself and others from the experience, with many already reflecting on its positive value and merits. Thank you.
This year we are aiming to develop further our Field Studies Centre by enhancing the outdoor learning opportunities, specific to the area. This will include the construction of boardwalks through the property’s three wetland areas allowing boys to observe and conduct research in this unique ecological environment.
All donations, large or small, will help us reach our goal and are greatly appreciated.

Trinity Grammar School Scholarship Fund

A scholarship can make all the difference for a Trinity Student. Thank you to the numerous members of our community for your generous support of our Scholarship Fund, which has enabled students to access a Trinity Education – an education that has provided these students with opportunities to develop their God-given potential, purpose and passions in life.
We look forward to your support again in 2017.

Trinity Grammar School Library Fund

The innovative library services and modern physical design of The Arthur Holt Library make a strong statement about the School as a whole – that learning is at the heart of what we do. Library Services at Trinity Grammar School work in conjunction with students and teachers to determine the best ways to support, strengthen and develop our teaching and learning community.
Successful recent collaborations include the design of a Middle School wide reading programme with the English Department, delivery of the Year 7 Field Studies Programme with the Geography Department and co-hosting activities in support of the Trinity Arts Festival with the Visual Arts, Drama and Music Departments.
With a focus on literacy and a commitment to enhancing the student experience at Trinity, no term is the same in The Arthur Holt Library! Highlights include Library Bingo (a challenge for students to read beyond their comfort zone and receive academic recognition for their efforts); TED Week (to promote curiosity and creative thinking skills); and Men’s Health Week (to celebrate the importance of a healthy mind and body).
The Library Services team also regularly plans for and delivers a range of initiatives and events to benefit the boys. Books @ Breakfast is held bi-annually, showcasing male authors as positive role models and promoting an opportunity for parents and sons to celebrate text together. Trinity’s extended hours study programme, Study+, provides students with access to academic mentoring by Old Boys and study skills supported by Library Services staff.
The Library Services Team greatly appreciates your support.
