Renewal Project | July 2026 Update
Significant progress has been made on The Renewal Project over the past two months, with window installation and roofing works now complete on the new building. As a result, the structure is fully watertight, allowing construction activities to accelerate within the internal spaces.
Internal finishes are advancing steadily, with carpet installation and painting works now underway. Levels 2 and 3 are nearing completion, with approximately 80% of works finalised this week.
During the recent school holiday period, the tower crane was successfully removed from site. This milestone enables progress on the southern external link walkways and the staircase connection leading to Number 2 Oval.

Over the coming month, work will focus on the installation of fixed joinery throughout the lower levels, including the Reception and Arthur Holt Library areas. Construction of the external garden planter benches is also continuing.
The project remains on track, with Level 0 of the Quadrangle Building expected to be completed for an early handover to Trinity during Term 4. This will allow works to commence on the next stage of the project, including the Ground Floor and Level 1 refurbishment of the Founder’s Building.
We thank students, staff, parents and our local community for their continued patience and support as this important phase of the Renewal Project progresses. These developments form part of Trinity’s ongoing investment in renewing the Summer Hill campus, creating flexible and welcoming spaces that support the needs of 21st century education.
