Trinity’s basketball firsts have recorded their biggest ever win against traditional rivals Knox.
The 91-35 victory against one of their toughest opponents sets them up for a solid run at the title.
The seconds also defeated Knox, coming from behind to win 51-47, while the 7G, 7H, 7I, and 7J teams remain undefeated.
The volleyball firsts also defeated strong Knox opposition, remaining unbeaten by winning 3-2 for the second time this season, a score replicated by the seconds.
Water polo teams had six wins and three losses, though the firsts and seconds both went down to Knox and St Joseph’s respectively.
The touch football Open Bs defeated the only team they had lost to so far this season, with Ashton Lee’s goal-line intercept and length of field run a highlight.
Other wins went to the 16A, 15A, 15B, 14C, and 13A sides.
Table tennis completed a 5-0 clean sweep over Scots while the cricketers won three and lost seven against Knox, whose firsts surpassed Trinity’s 117 runs with five wickets in hand.
Debating teams had nine wins and three losses against Newington and PLC, while chess notched two wins and 10 losses against Knox.
