Summer Reading Challenge – Are you ready for a House Challenge?

The Prep Library has created a Summer Reading Challenge for students to opt into over the summer break to keep them reading. This year, with the renewed focus on House Spirit, we thought we would make it a House Reading Challenge.

Students received a promotional card this week (see below). When a student reads a book, they can scan the QR code which will take them to the form they need to fill in. This asks for their name, house and books they have read. In Term 1 2023, we will collate all of the responses to see which house had the most books read, this will be the first celebration of a House winner in 2023.

Overdue Books

It is getting to that time of year where we need to finalise all borrowing. Students have until the end of Week 7 to return all of their Library books. Once their account is cleared, they are welcome to borrow for the holidays. Any outstanding overdue Library books at the end of the term will be forwarded onto finance to add to school accounts.

Students have been receiving notes and stickers in their Record Books to make parents aware of overdue books. If you feel this is incorrect, please get in contact with Mrs Bruscino on Jbruscino@trinity.nsw.edu.au.

It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

Visit the Prep Library, we have a large amount of wonderful Christmas books to help you get into the Christmas spirit! Only 39 more sleeps until Christmas!
