Year 4 Book Reviews

Josh recommends Dog Man by Dav Pilkey as “it is really fun to read and it is very interesting and exciting. I would give it 4 stars out of 5 as it doesn’t have enough words. I have read four of these books in the series and I would read more of them as they are funny. Not laugh out loud funny, just funny.”

Evan loves Keeper of the Lost Cities as “ I love fantasy and adventurous books. This book also has a lot of funny moments. People also act very strange and weird in the story. I would give this book 4.7 stars out of 5. There are more books in the series, about 8.5. The point 5 is because it is a guide book. I have more of these books on reserve in the Library.”

Ethan “I like this book Wings of Fire because it helps you see how to overcome challenges and obstacles. I have read the whole series. I couldn’t read them in the right order as they were not always available in the School Library or our local Library, so I had to wait for them. I give this book 4.8 stars.”

Remembrance Day Books for borrowing

We have a great range of suitable books available for the boys to borrow as we think and reflect on Remembrance Day. There is a range of historic fiction and picture books that help unpack for students the lived experience of those who have encountered a world at war.
