Renewal Project: November lookahead

Renewal Project: November lookahead

As part of the Trinity Grammar School Renewal project, the School has both Department of planning (DPIE) and Inner west Council (IWC) approval to upgrade specific areas of public domain (Outside the School boundary). These upgrades are to enhance public amenity and pedestrian safety.

As part of these works

  • the existing pedestrian crossing at Prospect Road will be fully upgraded to current standards including enhanced street lighting designed to IWC and RMS standard.
  • the current pedestrian refuge at Victoria Street and Harland will also be upgraded to a fully complaint pedestrian crossing aligning with IWC existing cycleway through Yeo Park. This new crossing will also have enhanced and upgraded street lighting designed to IWC and RMS standard.

Both street lighting upgrades are specific to the new and upgraded crossings only and the street lighting will be to IWC and RMS standards including glare reduction/light pollution to residential areas.

Works are planned to be undertaken in the later part of 2022.
