The event once known as ‘Nitro Athletics’ was back in the form of the Schools Challenge this season, with more traditional athletics events. With a competition high, nine Trinity Grammar School teams, and 59 boys in total taking the track, this event was another opportunity for Trinity to show that we are a powerhouse of NSW Schools Track & Field.

While there were many impressive individual performances across the evening, it was the team camaraderie that stood out the most. The boys made particular effort to get around to their teammates’ events and cheer them on, and the result of three first place team finishes, one second place team finish and two third place team finishes was a testament to the great skill and dedication shown.
