IPSHA Debating
On Tuesday the 18th of October, eight boys travelled to Meriden for the 2022 IPSHA Debating Gala. There were eight schools that attended, Trinity Prep and Junior School, Meriden, Saints Grammar, MLC, Loreto Normanhurst, Arden, and Arkana. In the debate, there were two teams. Team A consisted of Adam J, Ethan K, Chenyu L and Jack B and Team B had Domenic A, Ronak B, Christian F and Rory A. Both teams had two debates which were really challenging but we managed to pull out three wins and one loss. During the debate all students performed extremely well in every single speech. All of us especially thanked the adjudicator for his in-depth feedback. At the end of the day it was a fantastic experience for all of us and we enjoyed it a lot. Thanks to Mr MacManus for coaching us.
