TGSACU – Ashfield RSL Presentation to Cadets
For more than 20 years, Members of the Ashfield RSL have presented our Unit’s Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) and Company Sergeant Majors (CSMs) with their Pace Stick, and Swagger Sticks. These are symbols of these positions in an Army Cadet Unit. Cadets in these roles hold senior positions in their Companies and are responsible for teaching and upholding dress, bearing and drill standards in our Unit.
After two years of not being able to visit, we welcomed Members of the Ashfield RSL to our Cadet Parade last week to make this significant presentation. The TGSACU has a long standing relationship with the Ashfield RSL and it is wonderful to have our cadets re-connected with the RSL after this hiatus (due to COVID).
