It is with great pleasure that I welcome all parents, students, and coaches to the 2022/2023 cricket season. It promises to be an exciting and enjoyable season and with any luck, the weather will play its part too.
In the recent school holiday, the 1st and 2nd XI squads were scheduled to play two trial fixtures but unfortunately, the weather was not kind. However, they did manage to get some play in on the first day and by all accounts, both teams showed great promise. We look forward to seeing what transpires in Round 1.
This Saturday 15 October, the 9A, 10A, 2nd, and 1st XI teams will be engaging in the CAS competition – we wish them all the best. All other teams will be participating in trials, an important first step in a successful season. For these teams, the CAS competition begins on Saturday 22 October.
