CAS Track and Field – Invitational 4
The fourth invitational competition of the CAS Track & Field session was one to which the boys were eagerly looking forward. With somewhat unpleasant weather in the third invitational the previous week, the boys were ready and raring to run, jump and throw some quality PBs, and then, as the first event was due to the start, the rain came tumbling down and did not stop until well after the final event.
Despite this, the Trinity boys performed admirably, with highlights including a school record in the Open 4x100m which was further punctuated by the outstanding individual efforts of the team members across the day; Seb Ghisso looking strong in his 100m and 200m, Danny Cattana a class above in the 400m and Will Moir showing his all-round class in the 100m and High Jump events.
It was also wonderful for Mr Des Chu to come out and photograph the team. The photos truly capturing the horrible conditions.
