CAS Track and Field – Invitational 3

The third invitational competition of the 2022 CAS Track & Field season, and the event that makes the halfway point of our campaign to retain the Andrew Reid Trophy, was held at SOPAC on Saturday 27 August with over 120 Trinity Boys taking part. Whilst the weather was changeable, and everyone at Olympic Park got wet, the meet was still extraordinarily well run, and thanks must go to the many helpers include staff, parents and Trinity students who helped out across the weekend. While most athletes found the conditions challenging, J Greaves (12We) stood out, hurling the javelin a massive 71.61m to smash both his own personal best, and the existing school record, by over 9 metres – a huge achievement for Jack.
