World Vision – 40 Hour Famine

Want to help the global crisis of world hunger?

In 2022, Trinity Grammar School continues to get involved in the annual fight against global hunger. We will be supporting 45 million people who are currently combating world hunger by participating in the World Vision 40 Hour Famine. World Vision is an organisation that works towards saving the lives of children and their families around the world. This year, over 36 countries are facing a hunger crisis. The hunger crisis has been compounded by COVID-19 and the war in Ukraine. Across the globe, higher food prices are combining with pandemic-related job losses to make nutritious food unaffordable for millions of families. You can do your part to make this world a fairer place. By signing up today, and giving up 40 hours to participate, you can do your part in raising awareness and helping to end world hunger. The money raised will go towards helping to end the global hunger crisis. This includes emergency food for children and families in conflict areas, training communities to grow nutritious food, providing malnourished children with effective treatment and equipping farmers with new knowledge to fight climate change. So please sign up, choose a challenge for 40 hours, create a profile and start fundraising. The 40 Hour Famine will run on Friday 26 to Sunday 28 August.
