The Junior School Allegro Concert Band performed at assembly this week. They confidently opened the assembly by playing the National Anthem. This was followed by them performing an old favourite called “Funky Town” arranged by Ralph Ford.

The Allegro Concert Band combines oboes, clarinets, saxophones, french horns, trumpets, trombones, tuba and percussion. Andrew Nicolopoulos who plays clarinet said, “I enjoy being in the Concert Band as you are able to play challenging pieces with your friends.”

The Allegro Concert Band rehearses on Monday afternoons till 4.15pm and Thursday mornings from 7.30am. If any student is interested in joining the Allegro Concert Band, please see Ms Goodman or Mr Malyusz.
