Dear Parents,

A long overdue dry morning for the three winter codes produced many close encounters in calmer condition last Saturday, the halfway mark of the winter season. It was great to see the Auxiliary at a busy Bressington Park with a coffee van, pastries and drinks to complement the morning.

Please remember that on Monday’s 5A Football and Rugby, and on Wednesday mornings Year 4 & 6A Football teams train before school. Wednesdays will now move to the new No.2 Oval as it will be operational.

Bressington Park last Saturday

Please send any Saturday absences through to my email or text (0438 980 602). The absentee app does not come to me so I only receive these on Monday, which is naturally too late to advise coaches or arrange other boys to play extra games.

Ethan C. (6T) has this week been away this week in Tamworth representing Combined Independent Schools (CIS) at the NSWPSSA Primary Hockey championships. The team had one win against Polding, which contains 50% of the state’s Catholic systemic schools and one defeat to a strong South Coast team to start their weeklong series of matches. We await further updates on Ethan & CIS’ progress in the tournament
