Year 6 Visual Arts/Mandarin Excursion
On Monday, Week 10 of Term 1, Year Six caught a bus to the Art Gallery of New South Wales. During our time there we visited the Art Express exhibition and ‘The Way We Eat’ Chinese exhibition. We had an amazing time looking at all the wonderful ancient Chinese artefacts and incredible Visual Arts major works by Year 12 students, from across the entirety of New South Wales.
Soon after our journey we visited a restaurant in Chinatown, Haymarket. At Yum Cha we had a scrumptious meal consisting of six delicious foods: fried rice, fried noodles, dim sim, spring rolls, prawn and vegetable filled dumplings. At the end we were presented with egg tarts (we still crave for more). Our personal favourite was fried rice.
After an amazing experience we hopped on to the bus, on our way back to Trinity.
