Trinity / Meriden ‘FUEL Camp’ 2022

The June long weekend (June 10-12) is fast approaching. For many this will be a time for a break from the 5-day school and work week with perhaps a getaway and time with family. But every year at Trinity it also sees the annual Trinity/Meriden FUEL Camp take place.

FUEL is a 3-day voluntary camp for students from both schools to go away together to hang out, make new connections and deepen friendships all while hearing from God through a series of Bible talks and related discussion groups. These are an opportunity for the students to grow in their knowledge of God, themselves, and the world they live in. The program is jam-packed with activities around the Bible times, with fun and games in the evening and on Saturday afternoon. (Friday night last year saw the staff lip-syncing and dancing on stage to One Direction!)

The informal and relaxed nature of camp offers students an invaluable opportunity to relate to each other and staff in a way that’s not available to them in the normal course of the school week. It is often faith-related conversations over dinner, on the basketball court, or around the campfire that prove most memorable and impactful for boys.

Places on FUEL are limited to 90 students, and last year saw unprecedented demand for camp, with dozens of students expressing interest and sadly missing out. Registrations for this year will open inWeek 4, so keep an eye out to ensure your son doesn’t miss out!
