Congratulations Green Patch Boys

Congratulations Green Patch Boys

Our Green Patch Produce Box had a marvellous adventure at this year’s 200th Royal Easter Show. Mrs Bargwanna delivered the box just as the sun rose on the first day of the show as entries needed to be staged by 7:30am.

The judges were very impressed with our box of produce and their comments included: “Fantastic presentation of the box outlining your Crop Rotation system. Quality produce. Loved the story it told and how it matched in with the project PowerPoint.

Fascinated by the 7 P’s of the Green Patch Initiative. Good to see all the smiles and how much the boys enjoy being in the Patch.”

We were awarded the Blue Ribbon and First Prize certificate which the boys were presented  during Assembly this week.

So sorry if your family tried to find the box in the Flower and Garden Pavilion. Sadly it was only on show from 8:30am Friday 8th April until Saturday 9th April 7:30pm. They needed to move it on for the next round of competition.

Congratulations boys on a well-deserved win. I am very much looking forward to planning and growing next year’s produce with you all. Start dreaming up a theme for our next entry.
