ROUND 3 2022 IPSHA SPORT
Dear Parents,
Unfortunately, the weather curtailed much of the sporting landscape last weekend.
The only survivors were the eight inter-school Year 5/6 Basketball teams who had indoor fixtures either in the Old Gym or at Cranbrook’s Dangar facility.
Thank you to the parents who contacted me with issues on Saturday. The earlier the better so I can alert the coach of a boy’s absence or lateness. Thank you also to the parents who have their boys at the venue 30 minutes before their match. I am happy for a 15 min prior arrival at any Old Gym fixtures in future except the first one of the day due to limited space. This will involve 4B and 4A Vs tomorrow.
My mobile is 0438980602 to alert me of your son’s potential late arrival to his sporting commitment.

IPSHA Swimming & Diving:
The Junior School Swimming Team attended the IPSHA Swimming and Diving carnival at SOPAC on Tuesday as a culminating event for many. Six boys were successful in gaining selection in the IPSHA Team to swim once more at CIS Swimming in four weeks.
Individual highlights from Tuesday were Swimming Captain N. Jones placing 1st-3rd across all four strokes in 50m, including breaking 29.5 seconds for the 50m freestyle and placing second in the 100m Freestyle. He will now contest all five events for IPSHA! A. Chung secured 2nd and a TGSJS quinella in the Opens Breaststroke coming behind Jones. Our Junior 4x50m relay team; D. Zhang, L. Chen, N. Ma & A. Zeng made it into the IPSHA team with a 3rd place finish. Many other boys took home ribbons from their specific swimming heats as well.
P. Karlos placed 3rd in the U10 boys Springboard Diving event at his first IPSHA carnival.
