It was a fantastic feeling to return to the Trinity Centenary Centre Pool for an inter-school friendly fixture against Cranbrook School. Having put in a number of weeks preparing well at training, it was great to be able to experience a match for most Trinity teams and their respective members. Overall, the day was a great success for Trinity and invaluable for players to develop their match fitness. With many great results, particularly in the Opens, it highlights the depth within the current Years 11 and 12 cohorts. With 13 players at NSW selection trials, and another group at the Field Studies Camp, Trinity performed remarkably well. Across the Opens teams, Trinity managed to score 77 goals and conceded only two. It is evident that selections for the Open teams will be the most competitive in recent history.
