Track and Field NSW 3000m Championships and Supporting Events

With a great season opener for many of our athletes at NSW Schools Nitro, our Trinity Athletics Club was represented strongly in both the Supporting events competition at SOPAC and the NSW 3000m Championships.
Strong winds made it difficult for the early 400m events, but it was amazing to see so many athletes competing for the Club.
Special mention must go to Patrick C (2021), who ran an unbelievable race in the 3000m to clock a PB and an unofficial World Junior time of 8.14.29s. With only a week since he finished his Year 12 IB exams – this is a wonderful result and we are very proud of you Patrick!
