Welcome to the Trinity Arts Festival Online 2020

For almost 24 years, I have been proud and delighted to write the welcome to the Trinity Arts Festival. Yet I could never have imagined what 2020 would bring. After all, how can we have a Gala when we cannot gather? How can we celebrate Arts and Creativity when our boys cannot meet to practise their music, rehearse plays and participate in workshops and big production performances?

The annual Trinity Arts Festival is an opportunity for boys and parents to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of Creative Arts at our wonderful school. Participating in the Creative Arts offers significant developmental opportunities from the very earliest Pre-K and Kindergarten student to the Year 12 premiere exhibition and artist performances.

COVID19 has encouraged us to use our creativity in different ways. Whilst we cannot host visiting musicians, build art installations, develop concerts, exhibitions or workshops for ‘in person’ experiences, the School is creating new and different opportunities online. Welcome to the Trinity Arts Festival Online 2020.

Students are invited to create, make or perform anything in their creative arts repertoire, video it from home, and submit the work for inclusion.

As we are unable to gather together, the School has also curated a collection of the best experiences, performances, and exhibitions from past Festivals. From these we have created individual playlists that will be published each day during the festival. As the playlist goes live you will be able to click and view the video from the thumbnails below.

Please take the time to peruse the website and enjoy the content. I hope you enjoy it.
