2007 HSC and IB Examination Results
Congratulations Class of 2007!
It is pleasing to commence the new year buoyed by the knowledge that our seniors of 2007 performed very well in the 2007 public examinations. Credit for this must undoubtedly go first and foremost to the boys themselves for their diligent efforts in relation to their studies. The professional dedication of our hard-working staff and the support of family are other important ingredients in these noteworthy achievements. The fact that the vast majority of our former seniors were also fully involved in the diverse life of the School during 2007 also gladdens my heart and adds further lustre to their achievements.
While complete information and analysis regarding the 2007 HSC/IB results is yet to come to hand, I am able to share the following highlights, based on contact with our former seniors and on the official results issued by the Board of Studies and the International Baccalaureate Organisation.
Reflective of the ongoing popularity of the IB, we had 35 boys sitting for their IB Diploma this year, with some 147 boys undertaking their HSC examinations.

2007 IB Diploma Results
It should be noted that this year the new “tougher” revised conversion table, which translates IB Diploma marks into equivalent UAI statistics, comes into effect. Yet, to our boys’ credit, their overall results in UAI terms were once again quite outstanding, with the average IB Diploma score for the Class of 2007 being 35.02 marks, which equates to a UAI equivalent of 94.50.
