Outdoor Recreation Junior Resident Masters 2010
| Two positions

Two passionate and enthusiastic Junior Resident Masters are required for 2010.  You will assist with the daily operation of the campus and the Outdoor Education programme, including leadership and the supervision of Year 9 boys. Training will be offered, culminating in an Outdoor Recreation Certificate 3. Accommodation and all meals are provided during school terms.

General Information

Trinity Grammar School is the largest Anglican Boys' day and boarding School in NSW with an enviable reputation and tradition for serving the educational needs of boys and young men over a number of generations. The School has campuses located in Strathfield (Preparatory School), Summer Hill (Senior, Middle and Junior School), Lewisham (Infants School) and Pine Bluff (Outdoor Education Centre on the Abercrombie River). Since its founding in 1913, Trinity has forged a reputation for out­standing academic results, a caring pastoral programme and an emphasis on both tradi­tional and community sports. Trinity has an enrolment of some 2000 boys.

The School is a member of the Combined Associated Schools of New South Wales and joins in the CAS Sports competition, while at the Primary level the School is a member of the Independent Primary School Heads' Association of Australia and participates in the IPSHAA Sports and Cultural activities.

All members of staff are appointed by the Head Master and they are responsible to him for the overall performance of their duties. The Head Master delegates his authority to senior staff members for the effective management of the School.

Mission Statement

The mission of Trinity Grammar School is to provide a thoroughly Christian education for its boys, imparting knowledge and understanding of the world we live in, and recognising the importance of spiritual qualities in every sphere of learning and living.  The School actively encourages its students to grow in wisdom and stature and in favour with God and man.

Specific Roles | Duties | Responsibilities

To supervise the boys at the discretion of the Master of Pine Bluff. This will involve accompanying the boys on outings, supervising the evening prep period as well as being involved in assisting in the teaching of Elective subjects.

  1. To supervise the boys and be involved with daily tasks such as rubbish collection, washing up and wood cutting.

  2. To supervise boys during their recreational periods on the weekends.

  3. To be a participant at the Pine Bluff staff meetings.

  4. To be involved in the regular maintenance tasks at the campus at the direction of the Master of Pine Bluff.

  5. To be committed to any other programmes or activities that make for the wellbeing of the boys in your care and the promotion of a positive, caring and dynamic climate at Pine Bluff.
