Philanthropic Support for Trinity Grammar School has always been, and always will be, a vital component in maintaining Trinity's place as one of the finest Schools in Australia, providing a Trinity education where young men are encouraged to 'grow in wisdom and in favour with God and man.'
The Trinity Grammar School Foundation was launched in 1984 and is the vehicle that the School uses to manage funds raised through our Development Programme. For information about the Foundation, please phone our Marketing and Communications Office +61 2 9581 6000.
Options which Donors may choose to contribute include, Capital Gifts spread over 3-5 years or over the period of attendance at the School, Gifts to the Annual Giving Programme, Gifts paid in conjunction with School Fees or by making provision through a Bequest.
Gifts can be made to the following Funds:
- The Building Trust - Donations to this Trust are tax deductible and are used for the expansion of academic, sporting, technical and cultural facilities at Summer Hill, Strathfield and Pine Bluff.
- The Education Trust - Donations to this Trust are currently non-tax deductible (due to be changed in 2006) and are used fund scholarships and allowances.
- The Library Trust - Donations to this Trust which, are also tax deductible, add to our collection of books, library equipment, works of art and related material.

PREPARATORY SCHOOL MUSIC & GYMNASIUM
DEVELOPMENT
Phase 3 of the New Horizons Appeal focused on the redevelopment of the Administration, Music and Gymnasium facilities at the Preparatory School Campus.
This project consisted of the construction of a purpose built Music Centre at Strathfield, the reconfiguration of current Music facilities to provide more effective classrooms, the provision of a new gymnasium for teaching PDHPE and facilitate the Preparatory School sporting programme and the provision of appropriate administrative facilities including a Common Room for staff and sick room facilities
The new facilities were opened in September 2005.
Key Features of the Preparatory School redevelopment :
Gymnasium - Underground Level
- Lower base - 8 metres deep
- One competitive sized basketball court - all purpose floor
- The roof of this court creates another competition basketball court & play area
- Spectator seating for 200 people
- Fitness Centre for health and fitness - 30 sq metres
- Two change rooms
- Amenities
- Basketball courts (lower ground) can be converted to cricket practice nets (motorised)
- Equipment storage room
- Access by lift and stairs
- Sports staff room
- Padded walls in Gymnasium
Music Practice Rooms - Mezzanine Level
- Two large rehearsal rooms for teaching
- Height of rooms - 4.5 metres
- Built in storage facilities for instruments
- Major store rooms
- Acoustically-designed rooms
Ground Level
- Additional courtyard space for students to play
- 10 new music studios and a theory classroom (all soundproofed)
- Sound proof studios
- Two major teaching studios
Other Information
- All floors are air-conditioned
- Re-surfaced Basketball courts

- Two new classes being created
- Old Gym is being converted into a new staff room
Somerset Building
- Upgraded Admin. Building
- New Sick Bay
