This is an exciting and new fundraising programme for Trinity Grammar
School, that seeks to encourage philanthropic support from our business
and corporate community. The Trinity community comprises of an extensive
range of businesses and companies that we are seeking to work together
with, to provide a mutual benefit and establish long term relationships
with.
The Partners and Supporters Programme at Trinity provides a flexible approach
to philanthropic support from companies and businesses associated with
the School. Essentially, our Partners and Supporters receive advertising
and promotion benefits to the broader Trinity community for no upfront
costs. Such advertising and promotion benefits include the School’s
website, quarterly Trinity News magazine, monthly Alumni e-Newsletter,
promotional flyers etc.
In exchange, the Programme seeks to encourage our Partners and Supporters
to pass on a financial donation to the School when a member of the Trinity
community utilises the service or product being advertised through the
School. This donation may be in the form of a flexible percentage rate
of the price paid for the purchased product, a straight up cash donation
per transaction etc.
There are many associated benefits for business and companies taking part
in such a fundraising programme In fact, many studies show that corporate
charitable giving helps improve a company's bottom line. According to
data from the 1999 US based Cone/Roper Cause Trends Report:
- 76% of consumers indicate they would switch brands or retailers to
one associated with a good cause, when price and quality are equal.
- 87% of employees at companies with philanthropic programs feel a stronger
sense of loyalty to their employer.
External benefits of corporate philanthropy include:
- Improved customer loyalty.
- Enhanced reputation and standing in the community.
- Increased positive name recognition and brand awareness.
- New and enhanced relationships with key community leaders and officials.
- Beneficial business-to-business relationships with nonprofits.
- A reservoir of goodwill within the community.
