GROUP – 3RD SUMMER HILL (TRINITY
GRAMMAR SCHOOL)

As one of the largest Scout Groups in NSW and with almost 80 years of history at the School, Trinity Scouts consists of a Cub Scout Pack and a Scout Troop. It is managed by volunteer parents trained through The Scouts Australia Institute of Training. Many of the courses for Scouting Leaders are nationally accredited and include First Aid. Scouting strives to develop leadership, emphasise nature, adventure, citizenship, self-reliance and of course having fun.
- Cubs – For Trinity boys between 7.5 and 10.5 years of age. The objective of the Cub Scout programme is to provide a group environment which is intellectually stimulating, physically vital and directed towards satisfying the child’s basic need to face and overcome challenges. Meetings are held each Tuesday at the Summer Hill Campus from 6.00pm to 7.30pm.
- Scouts –Scouts is for Trinity boys aged between 10.5 and 14.5 years of age. At this point in their lives Scouts show great enthusiasm for activities that give them a sense of achievement and which follow their special interests with intensity. Trained Leaders use these characteristics to help make Scouting an experience in which young people gain character-developing qualities while having fun. Meetings are held each Thursday at the Summer Hill Campus from 6.00pm to 7.30pm.
All sections experience an active involvement with outdoor activities, camps, bushwalks and numerous other adventure and learning activities.
