MEDIA PRODUCTION

Christopher Parmenter
Students in Media Production are taught to use a range of digital electronic
equipment. The opportunities are extensive, and include the use of professional
video cameras, video editing facilities, audio recording, editing and
engineering studios, graphic design suites, lighting design and control
facilities, and multi-media production areas. Students are also able to
participate in the following activities:
- Tropfest Short Film Festival.
- Individual and small group media projects.
- Digital graphics.
- Filming of Rugby, Cricket, Basketball and Soccer games, the CAS Track
and Field and Swimming, and major Drama, Music and other School productions.
- Music recording and engineering, including voice-overs.
- Animation productions.
- Designing web pages (for beginners).
- Other in-house promotional and educational videos, CDs and multi-media
products.
Meeting Details:
Wednesday afternoons from 3.40pm to 5.00pm in the James Mills Drama Theatre.
