ECONOMICS 'Q & A'

Master-in-Charge: Mr Ian Moore

The aim of this co-curricular is to teach students about current affairs, as well as the art of asking questions, and methods used by leaders to avoid difficult questions. It is designed for students with a passion for Economics, Business Studies, Legal Studies or Political Studies in Year 12, or accelerant students in Year 11 would be invited to be considered for this co-curricular.

Activities during the weekly sessions:
1. To prepare questions for upcoming speakers
2. Research into the background of speakers
3. Have mock Q & A trials
4. Learn about specific questioning techniques
5. Learn about body language and techniques to avoid difficult questions
6. Direct questions to the guest speakers.

Meeting details
A compulsory one hour co-curricular would meet on a Friday after School or this time could be rescheduled to accommodate the timetable for the guest speakers.
