Master-in-Charge: Mr James St Julian The Archaeological Society is open to Senior School students with a particular interest in Ancient History Classics and Archaeological methods and practices. The Society provides students with opportunities to develop skills for archaeological excavations and interpretations. This is achieved through students learning about artefact handling, document research, sorting, cleaning, preserving, surveying, stratigraphy reading, excavation techniques and a number of other archaeological practices. The Society undertakes several field trips to Museums and sites throughout the year.
