Careers Testing
Year 10 Students complete an 'In-Depth' Career Assessment called Career Avenues. The assessments are useful for students who
have to make decisions about subject, course and career choices.
The JIIGCAL programme, through Career Voyage, is also available
to all students and this provides career guidance and information
for students of all ages and abilities.

Interviewing
Students are encouraged to take advantage of the knowledge and information available from the Careers Adviser. Information on assumed knowledge for particular University courses, scholarship information, enrolment dates etc is available. Information is also available on particular career paths and vocations as well as the educational pathways required to achieve the student's goals.

Careers Markets
These basically showcase the opportunities available to students following Year 12. The O.T.U. organise a market during Term 1 (of each year) and use School contacts to present students details in a wide variety of industries and careers. Another is conducted by the Western Suburbs Careers Advisers Association and has been presented at MLC Burwood the last few years.
The company Aerospace Aviation (www.aerospaceaviation.com) delivers Basic Aeronautical Knowledge at H.S.C. level and a number of students from Trinity learn to fly.

Speaker Program
This is currently being established with the aim of providing the most up-to-date information on changes occurring in different industries and tertiary institutions. Private institutions are also being invited to take part in the programme because many students do not take the University option following Year 12 and prefer to join the work force and then complete tertiary courses at times which are more convenient.

Work Experience
A programme for Year 10 conducted in the last week of Term 3 following the exams. It aims to provide an opportunity for students to experience employment in an area that they may be interested as a career.

Career Views
A publication which provides basic details of important information, related to University courses, TAFE courses, changes in educational opportunities, scholarships, closing dates of course admission and careers evenings as well as many relevant issues.
